Launched on 12 June 2025, the program is a collaboration between DGT (under MSDE), Shell India, and Edunet Foundation.

Implemented across select ITIs and NSTIs in Delhi‑NCR, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
Multi‑Tier Training Structure

Advanced EV Technician Course: 240 hours, offered at 4 NSTIs.

Job‑Oriented EV Skills Course: 90 hours, available at 12 ITIs with Shell-supported EV labs.

Foundational Green Skills Module: 50 hours, at additional ITIs without labs.
Curriculum & Certification

Curriculum co-developed by Shell, Edunet Foundation, and DGT. Focus areas include: EV systems, diagnostics, battery tech, digital tools, and safety.

Includes Training of Trainers (TOT) for ~250 instructors.

Successful trainees to receive co-branded DGT–Shell certification and structured placement support.
Infrastructure & Industry Linkage

Establishment of dedicated EV skill labs in the partner ITIs/NSTIs for hands-on training.

Placement support integrated to enhance industry connections.
